Level 5 – Higher Apprenticeship in Management

Description

This Apprenticeship framework is directed towards people who have a supervisory role or are in a senior management position. The goal is to provide workers with the knowledge, skills and competencies necessary to support business processes, systems and services to make organisations run more efficiently so they can be more productive.

Level 5 Managers have a vital role to play in setting up and supporting an organisation’s objectives through a broad range of duties, such as: being involved in strategic decisions, handling budgets, planning and carrying out changes, leading various teams and overseeing programmes of associated projects.

Content of Programme

You will gain the following qualifications by completing the Level 5 – Higher Apprenticeship in Management programme:

  • Level 5 – NVQ Diploma in Management & Leadership
  • Level 5 – Diploma in Principles of Management & Leadership

Requirements to Enrol

This particular qualification is appropriate for participants 18 years of age and older who are currently working in a senior management position.

No specific prior learning is required to enroll on to this programme, however participants may find it easier if they have already obtained a Level 4 qualification.

Awarding Body: Northern Council for Further Education (NCFE)

Level: 5

Duration: 1 year to 18 months

These programmes are offered free to those who meet these criteria:

  • Not attending full time education
  • Have resided in the EU for at least 3 years
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Currently hold a senior management position
  • Work at least 30 hours per week
